As part of its commitment to sustainable business practices, PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia (GTI) held a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Training Program on June 12–13, 2026, at the Tugu Muda Meeting Room. The training was attended by the Certification System Team and employees from various technical and non-technical departments, with a trainer from MK Academy. This program was organized to strengthen employees’ understanding of sustainability principles and support the implementation of internationally recognized standards within the company.

The training aimed to improve employees' understanding of FSC standards and the importance of responsible forest-based material management. Participants also learned how to maintain material traceability from raw materials to finished products in line with FSC requirements. This knowledge is important to ensure transparency throughout the supply chain and to support responsible sourcing practices.

During the two-day training program, participants learned the basic principles of FSC, material management systems, and how to apply FSC standards in daily operations. The training included presentations, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and interactive games, making the learning process more engaging and easier to understand. These activities also encouraged participants from different departments to share ideas and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.

Through this training, participants gained a better understanding of the importance of transparency, traceability, and sustainable supply chain management. The knowledge and skills gained will help each department apply FSC standards more consistently, maintain certification requirements, and support continuous improvement in operational processes.
