Kendal, August 2026 — Maintaining product quality and customer trust is an important part of PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia’s commitment to its customers and business partners. As part of this commitment, PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia (GTI) conducted the renewal certification audit for OEKO-TEX STeP and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 from August 10–15, 2026. The audit was carried out across GTI’s operational areas and involved the Certification System Team together with representatives from various units.

The OEKO-TEX audit is an important process to review how the company applies quality, environmental, chemical, social, and safety standards in its daily operations. During the audit, the team reviewed documents, data, and supporting records related to the implementation of the standards. The auditor then continued with an onsite factory tour to directly observe the conditions and practices in different areas of the company.

The audit covered six main areas: Quality Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Performance, Chemical Management, Social Responsibility, and Health and Safety. Each area was reviewed to ensure that the company’s systems and practices were properly implemented and continuously improved. The involvement of representatives from different units also supported the audit process by providing the information and evidence needed by the auditors.

This year’s audit also showed positive progress in GTI’s improvement journey. The company received appreciation for the progress made compared with previous years. One of the highlights was the improvement in the self-assessment results for Environmental Performance and Quality Management, which increased from Level 2 to Level 3. The improvement was also supported by the implementation observed during the onsite factory tour. The results reflect the efforts of different teams in maintaining and improving standards in their respective areas. From managing production processes and chemicals to maintaining workplace safety and environmental practices, each unit has an important role in supporting the company’s overall performance.

More than a certification process, the OEKO-TEX audit provides an opportunity for GTI to review current practices, identify areas for improvement, and maintain consistent standards across the company. The process encourages teams to continue learning and improving while ensuring that quality, safety, and responsible business practices remain part of everyday operations.

Through the renewal of OEKO-TEX STeP and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, GTI continues to strengthen its commitment to quality, safety, sustainability, and responsible production. With continuous improvement and cooperation across all units, GTI aims to maintain customer trust and move forward toward a stronger and more sustainable future.
