As part of its commitment to maintaining transparency and traceability throughout its production process, PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia (GTI) regularly undergoes independent inspections as a supplier of woven fabrics for Polo Ralph Lauren. On May 13, 19, and 21, 2026, GTI welcomed inspection visits from Qima, an independent third-party inspection agency appointed by Polo Ralph Lauren to verify production processes and raw material traceability.

The inspection program enables customers to gain greater visibility into how fabrics are produced at GTI while ensuring that the materials used meet the required sourcing standards. During this inspection cycle, Qima reviewed eight fabric constructions with various material compositions, representing a broader scope compared to previous inspections. This reflects the continued emphasis placed on transparency and supply chain accountability by global brands and their manufacturing partners.

Throughout the inspection, Qima inspectors were accompanied by GTI’s Merchandiser team as they visited several production areas, including Yarn Dyeing, Weaving, and DPF (Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing). The inspectors observed and documented key stages of the manufacturing process, while GTI representatives provided detailed explanations of the production flow, from yarn processing and fabric weaving to finishing operations and finished goods storage.

The inspection concluded with the collection of fabric samples from the finished goods warehouse. These samples were subsequently sent to Oritain Global in New Zealand for scientific origin verification testing. Through Oritain analysis, the geographical origin of the cotton used in the fabrics can be validated, providing an additional layer of assurance regarding raw material traceability and compliance with customer requirements.

For GTI, inspections such as these are an important part of maintaining customer confidence and meeting the expectations of international brands.
