Product quality is important, but customer trust also depends on transparency and traceability. Through Transparency and Traceability Documents (TNT), buyers can track the journey of a product from raw fiber and yarn to finished fabric. In June 2026, PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia (GTI) successfully submitted TNT documents to J.Crew Group and is currently preparing the documents for Polo Ralph Lauren.
The TNT documents are prepared through close collaboration between the Merchandiser Team and the Purchasing–Supply Chain Team. Purchasing collects the raw material purchasing documents from suppliers, while Merchandiser combines them with fabric sales documents based on each buyer's requirements. The documents include sales contracts, commercial invoices, shipping documents, customs documents, certificates of origin, and proof of payment.
Although the purpose is the same, each customer has different document requirements. The TNT documents for Polo Ralph Lauren and J.Crew Group follow a similar concept but have different formats, product traceability flowcharts, and supporting document requirements. Therefore, every document is carefully prepared to meet each buyer's standards.
After submission, the buyers review the documents to check their completeness and traceability. The evaluation results help build customer confidence and strengthen long-term business relationships. In some cases, TNT documents are also requested by other customers, such as vendors and garment factories.
Preparing Transparency and Traceability Documents (TNT) reflects PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia's commitment to transparency, strong supply chain management, and international standards. By maintaining accurate and reliable documentation, GTI continues to build customer trust, improve its global competitiveness, and support sustainable business growth.
