A drop of blood may seem small, but for someone in need, it can mean so much. This spirit of giving was reflected in PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia (GTI) through a blood donation activity held as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Organized by the General Affairs (GA) Team on 3 July 2026 at the Tugu Muda Room, the activity received a positive response, with 100 employees joining as blood donors.

Before donating, all participants went through a health screening to ensure they met the requirements for blood donation. The screening included completing a health form, checking blood pressure, and measuring hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Participants were also encouraged to get enough rest, eat nutritious food, and maintain sufficient iron intake to help keep their bodies in good condition before donating.

The donation process was carried out in a safe and organized manner with the support of the medical team. The enthusiasm of employees showed that caring for others can grow naturally from the workplace. Each participant contributed a small part of themselves, but together, their contributions can make a meaningful difference for people who need blood. After donating, participants received merchandise from PMI and PT Golden Tekstil Indonesia as a token of appreciation for their participation. More than just a reward, however, each donor had given something far more meaningful—the opportunity to help others and support those who may need blood during medical treatment or emergencies.

Through this activity, GTI continues to encourage care, solidarity, and a spirit of giving among employees. The participation of 100 employees shows that social responsibility can start with a simple action and grow through collective participation. Because for GTI, kindness does not always have to start with something big sometimes, it starts with a single drop of blood given with sincerity.
